Queer Sexuality and Desire

I think there's a difference between undertaking projects of determined self-fashioning and trying to just get your desires to conform to your political principles. In part, i think, because lots of queer people have had the actual experience of finding themselves desiring something or some one that they have been told they shouldn't desire or find desirable.
