Gene Wolf's latest novel is a memoir called "The Necropolis" The book opens with the narrator talking about what he knows will happen in the future. He describes standing in front of the gates of the Necropolis, but doesn't exit through them. This is his fifth time writing one of these books and it was unusual to start at such an early point as this year has been.
