Onyx and the Red-Bellied Black Snake
Onyx can sense Summer's feelings before she's even sensing them herself. Small signals that Summer is feeling stressed or worried and then he lets her know that he's there. In a town called Jim Bumba, up in Queensland, some school canteen workers were getting snacks ready for all the kids when they found a slithery, scaly visitor hiding under the cash register. Red-bellied black snakes are native to Australia but only live around the east coast. They have long black bodies and bright red bellies. And they are venomous.
