Deep Learning and Machine Learning for Under Resourced Languages

Machine learning is being used to improve the accuracy of ancient Greek inscriptions. The technology can also be applied to under resourced languages, such as tigrina or maric in Ethiopia. This could help extend the scope of an ancient historian's work by helping them reconstruct texts and understand their meaning.
