How Do You Counsel a Newly Diagnosed Epilepsy Patient?

i feel like it can be difficult m especially when you're trying to counsel an adolescent patient who's just coming to you for the first time. So how do you counsel this type of patient with newly diagnosed epilepsy, in that same visit, about their risk of suwed up in mortality? i don't think that that we should scareur our patients with high mortality rates. But  it could be a topic that that one could bring in when addressing the the importance of taking the disease serious and taking all these precautions to prevent e sesious.
