Jason writes in from Colorado. He wants to know if he can consolidate his Roths as they hit the five year mark. Scott: I give this strategy, but don't be shortsighted with it. You did not need the Roth conversions and the capital gains. His IRAs is going to continue to grow tax deferred. It does kick the can down the road to where your taxes will be a lot higher later.
