The E-Reader in the Film
David Robert Mitchell had creative control over the film and also over the final cut of the film that he was able to fashion. There are some other modern trappings that you find within the film but there's a piece of technology in there called the e-reader which is basically in a shell. The use of water in the film is very very particular and he's chosen very very carefully. A little bit of pushback on the ending perhaps of it but this would actually be fairly crucial for what happened next because it came under lots of people's skins now full disclosure.
