The Reality of Intersubjectivity

I was nudged into seeing more and seeing it at a more mature moment in my life, right? So that I find this all the time. And returning to Tintoretto in Venice, actually, with David's comments, with, in a way, his eyes made me care about that work much more. My thought is that our relationship to works of art is not that of a person and a thing. We already have this thought that it holds the traces of another human consciousness and unconsciousness. Because there's something more alive about that work than that stool down there, right?
