The Importance of Data Design in Analytics

Data design is a really important thing to get right when you are, for example, instrumenting analytics that you're going to be sending into a database and then building some insights on top of that. I think you need to have a flexible system, but it's often better to say, okay, now let's start putting stuff in and seeing what happens. Like you need a foundation to work off of, but you shouldn't build the entire thing before you start to live in the house.
