The Importance of a USCF Rating

The first 25 games are sort of all factored in some weird formula that I have no idea how it works. My daughter has a, it finally has a USCF rating. It's an online rating only, but she is way better than 100 now. She just hasn't played an official USCF event now in several months with a six-year-old who plays every day. You know, that's like how their minds work. So it's just so interesting thinking about ratings and what they actually mean and where they're at.
