Corvus's Revolt - A Memoir of a Roman Hero

Marius Corvis led a combined force back into rome, where he famously asked for and received clemency for the rebellious soldiers. He made sure no soldier was cast off the census rolls or in any other way panalyzed for his actions. Soon after the abortive rebellion, a truce was formalized with the samnites. But later generations treated any hint of mutiny quickly and without mercy.
