The Trump Administration's Border Strategy Has Been Effective

Border apprehensions are down something like 40% just since the beginning of the year. People who would be coming here to seek asylum may have gotten the message that they cannot successfully seek asylum in the US anymore. That might be a violation of international law, but it's an effective way to keep people from coming. The case for the wall gets even weaker because those policies have absolutely nothing to do with what's physically at the border.
