The Importance of Speaking the Truth in Love

Dan: Paul emphasizes speaking the truth, but to do it in a way that conveys that we actually love the person we're speaking to. He says each of you speak the truth with his neighbor and implies your neighbour is someone who you've built a foundation of love with. And then there's this strange statement in verse 26 which is paul using an imperative, Be angry and do not sin. Dan: Isn't it wrong to be angry? I mean, doesn't jesus say in the sermon on the mount that if you're angry in an unjustifiable way, that you are guilty of murdering your brother in the sight of noonmy?"
