When travel became more accessible and when like the peace corps had gotten started and had some success, then churches began to think, well, we we should do this too. And honestly, the established foreign mission boards and agencies were not big fans of that idea. So it's not aboutt ya missionaries. It's actually about spiritual growth and serving the poor,. I think that very clearly. By the time i was in high school, go on these trips, that's what it was about. But thing like wywam, i think there was some like, maybe missions is for you, that that one seems to be maybe having both of those.
