The Pros and Cons of the Marine's Decision to Intervene
The law says that you can't claim self defense or defense of others if you're the initial aggressor. If your belief is unreasable, then you're the aggressor and you can't raise defense. So much is going to come down to whether or not that initial decision to intervene was deemed reasonable because if it wasn't, then he is the aggressor here.
