The book was an attempt to spell some of that out. Using the title postmodern predicament, was that just clickbait? That was a very late addition. The publisher initially had proposed a cover that showed this romantic couple sort of silhouetted against a sunset. And so he asked me for an alternative proposal and I thought of Idigar's engagement with the jug as he is a classic essay.
