CHAPTER

The Marxist Mythology of Sexual Ideology

Popular culture is permeated with ideas that erotic variety is dangerous and healthy to preyed in a menace to everything from small children to national security. The equate sexual masochism with self-destructive personality patterns, sexual sadism with emotional aggression, and homoeroticism with immaturity. These terminological muddles have become powerful stereotypes that are indiscriminately applied to individuals on the basis of their sexual orientations.
