Of course, we lost in 20 17, and that needs to be remembered as well. But very often, forty % is quite enough to win. And i think we do need to go back to 20 17 as a sign of the potential that a well judged radical programme and campaigning vigour and vision, allied to a politician with integrity, that it did. That is a way that the left can very nearly win.
