i think in so many ways, we've done such a tremendous dservice to our patients or clients, because we've forced them to look at the opposite of what they really should be reflecting on. You cannot create permanent change with temporary behaviors. It's not going to happen. And when you're trying to create an outcome which is a long term thing, a long term, sustained outcome, by temporary, nonsustanable behaviors, you're not going to get the result you want. The missing ingredient, which i found to be true o ter time, is that the sheer mass of food is the determinate, ultimately, of wegt gain and weight loss.
