How to Use Your Audience's Language

Gran: We need to use our audiences language, not our own. How do we do that? To define in very clear terms any word that could be interpreted some other way. The second thing is not that you can't ever use your own language for things, but make sure you back it up with a plain english explanation. It's one of the reasons why i'm serious what i say i'm an English translator.
