The UK is a deeply racist society, but it has become socially unacceptable to articulate that racism explicitly. These are the women who are most threatened by that loss of status. I almost feel sad for trans women. It's like, oh, you're really taking the bullet that was meant for us. The issue with that is that everyone's got rent to pay.
