Comedy vs Tragedy

The formula for comedy can be seen in Helen's address to Demetrius. Tragedy like Othello is essentially the opposite making a hell out of a heaven. The difference between the two plays comedy and tragedy is that when chaos comes in Othello it is realised through violence, deceit and death. When chaos comes in a Midsummer Night's Dream it comes in the form of fast misunderstanding and jokes.
