The Reaction to Logical Positivism

I think that in our correspondence we discussed a bit how they were really in what I wanted to talk about three revolutionary changes. The first one would be the turn toward realism, toward scientific realism. That's happened especially at the Minnesota Center starting in the 50s. The second one was the turn toward history of science that we associate especially with cumul. And then the third one is this turning from theories to models, this is a semantic approach. It took a while for any of us to really make its impact felt beyond the classroom. Of course it was happening while that heritage dominated teaching, plus of science teaching, and plus of science textbooks.
