Video Conferencing Can Affect Creativity

A new study has come out saying video calls might actually be hindering our ability to be creative. When you're focused on a screen or looking at yourself too much in the tiny camera viewer, it's harder to let your mind explore. This means less original thinking and more awkward pauses in meetings. The best idea is significantly lower in quality when people are enacting on video. So we asked melony brock if there was a way we could get our creative juices flowing as we work from home. We haven't empirically tested this, but one question that comes from this research is, would we be more creative if we turned our vidios off?
