Once a raid has occurred of this nature, there's something called a chinked team that is involved. A separate group, a typically prosecutors and fbi agents, review documents to make sure no communications are privileged. In previous cases, for example, both redigulion and michael cohen's cases, there had to be somebody appointed from the courts to review those documents. That can take a very, very long time to do. Then once that's done, the prosecutors and f bi on the case can take a look and see if they think they've gotten the evidence. So it is a long time coming.
