The Evolution of the Dog

Evolution is a hypothesis the church does not have a problem with. Pope Pius XII said that within certain limits, Catholics didn't need to have a problem entertaining the idea of human evolution. There's subsequently been additional doctrinal development. The church has become more aware of more recent scientific studies that have supported evolution on the genetic level.
