I paid cash for my degree, so i wouldn't have it if i had to go into debt. In terms of a income booster, it didn't do much to boost my income at all. It did boost my knowledge of what it's like to be in business,. So in that sense, i think it made me a better journalist. But i don't think there's a direct correlation between getting that degree and earning more money. I'm a non loan kind of woman. There are a lot of programmes where you can get even some graduate degrees without any debt. You just need to be really careful that you aren't stranding your family with all this debt.
