Is Climate Change Creating a Negative Effect?
I could see the effect of climate change resulting in more positive innovation that improves the quality of life across the world than the actual catastrophic events, which we cannot even currently predict. The reason we need to study history and the worst of human history is that we can say, oh shit, this too can happen. It's a wake up call. If you're complacent, if you get lazy, this is going to happen. I think there's reason to be optimistic about technology not in a naive way. There are lessons from failed tech companies such as Facebook who have taught us how not to do it right.
