Exxon's Arguments in Guyana
In 2023, a new peer-reviewed study into Exxon was published in the journal Science by Dr. Jeffrey Supran and his colleagues at Harvard University. It showed that not only did Exxon's own scientists suspect that burning fossil fuels was changing the climate in potentially dangerous ways, but they were terrifyingly accurate in those predictions. Janky is waiting to find out if the judge will approve Exxon's request to leave several paragraphs of Dr. Thomas' testimony out. He says either way, the argument and the ask are clear.
