Githa's Rebellion Could Change Everything

Githa was a godwinson. She had ties and lands all over the south, including right there in Exeter. There was a very real possibility that she could kick up a full-scale rebellion. William sent a messenger asking if the people of Exeter would kindly take in oath of fealty to him their rightful king. It's hard to know who answered because records are sparse.
