Apache Arrow - The 10 Things I Hate About Pandas
Wes McKinney, who created pandas from the beginning, has been on a real journey trying to get this arrow format going. He started to develop this Apache Arrow project in 2015. And since his continued to build a developer community around it and achieve these dual goals of what it could do. In 2021, he described how he was working really hard with all these other platforms and organizations to make sure there's compatibility.
