Bringing Together Special Relativity and Quantum Field Theory

There is a subject area, call it quantum mechanics, I'd rather call it quantum theory. And then there are disciplines within those areas or areas of focus that some physicists focus on more than others. Are they all consistent with each other and the many worlds in overtake? Wow. This is a challenge. So let's try and tease these out. Quantum field theory is where you bring in special relativity. We don't know how to bring together quantum theory and general relativity.
