The Entry of Sweden and Finland Into NATO Makes Defense of the Baltics Much Easier
With Sweden and Finland's entry to the organization, NATO now has multiple large ports on both sides of the Baltic Sea. The Baltics can now be supplied from Stockholm to Thailand, which is just a 200 mile or 360 kilometer ride. I think it makes that reinforcement effort to the Baltic states a much easier problem. It also makes it much more likely that the Russian Baltic Sea fleet will be bottled up.
