The Crisis of the Family
You describe COVID-19 as one of many crises to face a family as an institution. And I'd be interested to hear what you think about the reemergence of this discourse at the moment that it has. So I think there were our historical moment is characterized by a cascading series of escalating crises. The family has always, as you alluded to, been a container of crises and panic in many ways. But the last since the 1970s or so, the family has particularly undergone such huge transformations which are very easy for people to experience as crisis.
