Prisons: A Primer on Prisons

I decided to focus on prisons. I think there's a sort of reluctance to, people don't necessarily want to know that much about prisons. The heart of the book is really focused on people who are trying to prepare prisoners for life after prison. Both in terms of being humane and in terms of assuring public safety. There has been a weird bipartisan push to reform criminal justice. Is that real?
