The Difference Between a Garden and a Machine
The machine is driven by a force which must be introduced from without. The garden is grown by an energy which originates from within itself. I thought this distinction was so interesting in that you can think of a lot of things as either machines or gardens. And if it's somewhat self sustaining and growing at least somewhat on its own, it's a little bit more of a garden,. An something you're living with, an an tending to. It might be a little painful, yo might be pushing up on a boundary, but you'll gra it. You had to think horizon. If we move on to machine verse, go 's going to say that there's the stycodomy between
Every move that an infinite player makes is towards the horizon, and every move a finite player makes is within a boundary.
