Is Hyperkialemia Caused by Acidosis?

The concentration of hydrogen ion is only 40 nanomoles compared to potassium, which would be 4 millimoles. When you get an acidosis, you'll drop your bicarb from 24 down to 10. That represents a massive amount of hydrogen. The absolute movement of acid is not insignificant. And I think that that's sort of hidden in this paragraph as a sort of foreboding, if you will.
