The Fear of Intelligent Design

A few years ago there was a kind of a two dueling letters to the journal Nature. One saying that Darwin's theory is great and the other one saying that we need to move beyond it. So a lot of this is due to fear, fear of letting the great unwashed know the state of the biology.
