I remember being approached by Mark Schuetz who is the legendary former investigations editor at BuzzFeed News. I just had no idea what they were doing and saw a lot of cat gifts and felt like confused about why this person wanted to talk to me about investigations. One of our first investigations on the UK team was we investigated a company called Lyca Mobile who are currently standing trial and parish for money laundering as a result of that reporting. We spent weeks and weeks plotting up outside Lyca Mobile's depot in East London with these three guys who were carrying all this cash.
