"I sat in my room for, you know, eight hours a day learning in the summer time," he says. "Before led zeppelin was lik led zeppelin, i wasn't even into, ah, it was like, just after puberty." He recalls playing with van halen and scorpion songs at his brother's house as a teenager. The band played all through high school but no one knew they were on stage.
