Pilchereds have become a big tourist industry in south africa. The sardine harvest is so massive that sometimes they don't need nets. It's frowned on to distgoa and rescue an ot tellig noa. Would you rather fight one wilderbeast or sowsde? I would choose, actually, a hot air balloon for either foreether fight. Why do oily fish slip through your fingers because of their fat bodies? They migrate huge distances, massive shoals. So i think people keep blaming the decline of pilchered industry on people's declining taste. But they just burger off sometimes.
