The Socratic Method of Questioning
In the Theatetus by Plato, he basically says he's looking for consistency and coherence. So when I would ask you about why you believe this and this, there's an expectation that your logically, your beliefs are logically consistent. And coherent is you don't have kind of ad hoc rationalizations. This credit question is constantly expanding the realm of concepts where we have logically consistent and coherent systems. It can be very focused and narrow and getting kids or adults to think through every step of their belief or justification system internally.
