I had a choice of taking a deal with Sony or Universal who both produced the show and it just seemed like, okay, well, take a deal and then let's go back and work on community. Thank God I didn't take the Sony deal because their whole plan was they wanted me to run the show without Dan. And if I had taken that deal, it would have gotten very, very ugly. Whereas Universal, they were just like, we'll,. we'll, we'll,we'll, we never like community. NBC was like, fuck, no, no, they made it. They did not want to go back this year. It worked out in the most bummer
