Is There a Danger With Just Stop Oil?
I'm not for a moment arguing that people aren't allowed to be pissed off, they really are. My issue with it is that I think it turns more people off than it turns on and therefore is counterproductive. You can do direct action which doesn't just as a blunt weapon affect every single person who happens to be travelling on a given stretch of road at a given time. you can do your direct action in a way that kind of has a bit more willingness to run. Is that acceptable? I would be furious if my house were on fire. It's affecting people's behavior in a negative way - making people think more negatively about the issue of climate change.
