The Origins of Belaira Fon's Friendship With Pegasus
Homer, Hesiod and Pindar all give different accounts of Belaira Fon's defeat of the Chimera. But pseudo-Apolitaurus gives us the most detailed account that really says more about the other sources than it does Apolitaurus. He was able to get the bridal on Pegasus and its magic acted immediately, calming the beautiful winged horse and allowing BelairaFon to mount him up and fly off into the sunset. And when they found her, Belair Fon used Pegasus to his advantage. They flew over her, managing to avoid the fire, breathing forth from the goat with an angry baaah.
