The Golden State Killer - A Case Study
Paul Holz was convinced that Mr. Rax was the man he'd been looking for. He had two uncles who lived in areas where the perpetrator had struck, giving him a reason to be in those locations. At several of the Golden State Killer crime scenes, police found microscopic chips of blue architectural paint which they believed came from a spray painting tool. Paul Holz took a gamble by reaching out to Mr. RX's sister directly and she agreed to provide a DNA sample for testing. The results revealed Mr. Rx was not the Golden State killer.
