The Future of AI

Jonathan Strickland: 2023 has been the year of generative AI. This is artificial intelligence that creates or generates something, whether it's an image, a sound, or as we're going to talk about today, text in response to some sort of input. He says people are expressing concern about how this could potentially lead to harm. But with focus on stuff like chat, GPT, for example, or Google Bard, I would argue the concern is far too narrowly focused on just one aspect of AI.
