Nova allows for decentralized proving, which is kind of the next step after distributed proving. So imagine a small box at your home and you can be a scroll prover or whatever there is ZK saying prover. The other interesting thing about Nova is that it allows for parallel proving. And here what you need is basically these small proofs that can be communicated fast so that you can distribute the work.
