The History of Kabala
The most celebrated capitalistic text, the Zohar, is written in Aramaic. It narrates the journey of several rabbis through the Holy Land as they have a series of mystical encounters. Such texts help to inspire the most famous tradition of writing produced by medieval Jews. The Hebrew word kabala means tradition; it refers to the fact that mystical ideas and interpretations of Scripture were handed down through the generations.
