The Identity Politics of Herbert Marcuso

Herbert Marcusa wrote that incremental progress in a corrupt system is only going to serve the corrupt system. He's basically arguing that by giving radicals the ability to talk and act do activism, as long as they stay within certain boundaries, they neuter those radical groups. And so this would be one of the ways that critical race theorists believe that Black revolutionary will is drained from Black people. That's what repressive tolerance is going to have to repress the tolerance to do that.
